This is the first post on the new blog. The old posts are still out there in cyberspace but I don’t really have the time to move them over. I’m not too upset about it though – most of those older posts were related just to photography and I want this blog to more much broad.

The info that I’ll be sharing here will often be photography related but I don’t want to limit myself since I’m also doing a good deal of web design work and social media consulting.

Some of the things that I’ll be talking about will include ways for businesses to get the most out of social networking; ways for individuals to get the most out of social media; and best practices for people first getting into social media.

I’ll be reporting on all kinds of issues that affect social media users, photographers, web designers, and so on.

I also care a great deal about my community and about building stronger communities so I will occasionally talk about what is happening in my community as well as ways that I see others improving.
